#The ordinary concealer full
I applied 2-3 layers for it to be full coverage to my liking under my dark circles. You don’t need much product, a little goes a long way.

It doesn’t have the illumination or dewiness factor that I like for under eye concealers.Ĭoverage: This concealer has good (not high as indicated) coverage that is buildable. It gives a soft matte finish and looks quite natural on the skin. It dries down very quickly!įormula: It’s NOT a hydrating/moisturizing formula. They all worked great but I preferred the sponge to set it down and layer it evenly on my skin. The applicator reminds me of IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Under Eye Concealer.Īpplication: I tried applying the concealer with a brush, a sponge and my fingers. I like the nozzle applicator as it’s more hygienic than a doe foot applicator. Packaging: The packaging is super chic in their signature black and white colours. As soon as I heard that they were expanding their makeup line with a concealer and it’s less than $6, I had to grab my shade in Light Neutral (1.2N).
#The ordinary concealer skin
As for their makeup, I have tried their Serum Foundation (although I wasn’t a huge fan - it wasn’t hydrating enough for my dry skin but it did have nice natural coverage). I like a few products in The Ordinary’s skincare line. I purchased the Serum Foundation last year and ordered the same shade in the concealer to compare the two. On Deciem’s website, they indicate that The Ordinary Concealer has been formulated to be slightly lighter in comparison to our offerings within their Serum/Coverage Foundations. The concealer is available across a 36 shade range that covers different tones, depths and undertones. It’s packaged in a small 8ml tube with a thin nozzle applicator for precise application. It’s an alcohol and oil-free concealer that is cruelty-free and vegan. This product claims to resist creasing in fine lines. It’s high coverage concealer that works to look natural on the skin in covering imperfections, blemishes and dark circles. When The Ordinary launched their new concealer with a “high-spreadability pigment suspension system with very high coverage” I had to get my hands on it. Please note: the concealers are formulated to be slightly lighter than the brand’s serum/foundation range. You can say I’m a concealer junkie! With the genetic dark circles under my eyes, I’m always looking to try the newest concealer. Finally, shades will feature a letter to indicate the undertone: P (Pink) and R (Red) are cool, whereas N (Neutral) and Y (Yellow) are warm. Within these categories, the shades are then divided by a digit from 0-4 to specify the depth of the pigment. It’s never been easier to source your perfect match: 1 is for lighter tones, 2 for medium, 3 for dark/deep and 4 for deeper tones. Equipped with a thin nozzle applicator, expect nothing but precise, seamless coverage.Īvailable in an impressive 21 shade range, the concealer hues are split into four categories to ensure a versatile collection for all skin types. The vegan concealer expertly disguises dark circles or tell-tale blemishes with crease-resistant wear. Colour pigments resist gathering in fine lines for a smooth complexion that appears fresher for longer. The concealer takes care to lend a real skin finish, tapping into that natural, less-is-more feel.īuilt with a high-spreadability suspension system, the formula both applies and blends like a dream. Making waves across the industry, The Ordinary Concealer has a high-coverage, fluid formula that instantly obscures the look of imperfections.
